The 21st annual Ohio State Convention was brought to order by Roger Crabtree leading 33b. The morning prayer was offered by Jim Herr.
A short business session took place in which the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Roger Crabtree; Vice Chairman—Jim Coppock; Secretary—John Bayer. Although not appointed, Joe Fothergill acted as Treasurer for this Convention.

Darrell spoke and led 324 in memory of the following singers and friends who have died since our gathering in Columbus a year ago: Wilma Casenhiser, Nancy Yeager, Matthew Sideman, Dean Russell, Harrison Creel, Dr. Julietta Haynes, Charles Creel, Tom Schultz, Ernie Jett, Phil Trier, Jasper N. Bailey, and Lee Steinmetz. Darrell Swarens offered a prayer, thus closing the memorial service.
The class resumed singing with Wayne Dell leading 29b. Leaders: William Shetter 195; Judy Hauff and Melanie Hauff 215, 172; Michele Cull and Annaliza Cull 268, 155. Greg Creech asked a blessing on the food prepared, and dismissed the class.

Jim Coppock brought the final session of the convention to order by leading 72b.
