The 21st session of the New York State Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, New York, on the third Sunday and Saturday before in November. The convention was called to order by Jesse Pearlman Karlsberg leading 32t. George Seiler offered the morning prayer.

Brother Stavros Winner called the class back to order leading 319. A business session was held for the purpose of hearing reports. The Locating Committee report was given by Barbara Swetman who reported that the 2010 New York State Sacred Harp Singing Convention would be held in Rochester, New York. The Finance Committee Report was given by George Seiler who noted that all expenses had been met. The Resolutions Committee (Shane Wootten, Kelly Macklin, and G.C. Waldrep) thanked everyone who helped make the convention a success. A motion was made and seconded to accept the reports as given and adjourn the business meeting.

The Secretary reported that for the two days a total of 201 singers had registered from 15 states and 4 countries and 119 leaders had led 189 songs. Jesse Pearlman Karlsberg thanked everyone for coming to the Convention and gave special thanks to Bliss McIntosh, Jean and George Seiler, and Joanne Fuller for their help and guidance.
