Minutes of Sacred Harp Singings

The 11th annual Palo Alto All-Day Singing was held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, Palo Alto, California, on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in August. The class met both in person and online, via Zoom and Jamulus, with all four sections mic’d individually. The class was called to order by Anne Caswell leading 34b. Anne Caswell offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held and the following officers and committee members were elected or appointed to serve: Chairperson—Anne Caswell; Secretary—Lindy Groening; Chaplain—Anne Caswell; Treasurer—Paul Kostka; Arranging—Leigh Cooper; Online Technology—Paul Kostka. The business session was suspended.

The Treasurer reported that expenses had been met and the Secretary reported that seventy-six songs had been sung by twenty-six singers attending in person or online. The chairperson resolved to meet again next year. The business meeting was closed and announcements were made.
