The 104th session of the Crossroads Baptist Church Sacred Harp Singing and Homecoming was held on the first Sunday in July. The class was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Cecil Roberts leading 49t. The opening prayer was offered by Daniel Williams. Cecil Roberts welcomed everyone to the singing, and then led 48t.

Leaders: Miranel Swafford 155, 32t; Don Clark 31t; Karen Clark 501, 534; Karen Rollins 168, 399b; Samuel Williams 55, 95; David Smead 52b, 97; Helen Bryson 131b, 217; Winfred Kerr 576, 146.

A business session was held with the following officers retained or appointed to serve: Chairman—Cecil Roberts; Vice Chairman—Miranel Swafford; Secretary—Donna Bell; Arranging Officer—Margie Smith; Memorial Lesson—Helen Bryson.

Lisa Bennett led 201 (for Chris Holley) and 85.

RECESS

Cecil Roberts led 56t to bring the class together. Helen Bryson conducted the memorial lesson. Helen spoke and read the names of the deceased and the sick and shut-ins. The deceased remembered were Hugh McGraw, B.M. Smith, Lynn Swafford Key, James Hughes, Harold DeLong, George Snyder, Johnny Lee, Delorese Lee, Mary Jean Avery Payne, Tim Hammock—Georgia; Charles Wells-Minnesota. The sick and shut-ins honored were David East, Sandra Johnson, Tommie Spurlock, and Chris Holley. Helen led 475. John Plunkett offered prayer to close the memorial lesson.

LUNCH

The afternoon session began with Karen Clark leading 82t.
