The 13th annual Marilou and Don Jolly Memorial was called to order by Carroll Lunsford leading 33b. Norma Ruptier offered the opening prayer. Susanna Ball led 34b.

A business meeting was called and officers and committees were elected or appointed to serve: Chairperson—Susanna Ball; Vice Chairperson—Carla Smith; Arranging Committee—Jerry Schreiber; Chaplain—Norma Ruptier; Resolutions Committee—Juniper Hill and Mark Miller; Secretaries—Jane Campbell and Mary Linn Freedman. The business meeting was concluded and Susanna Ball led 36b.

Announcements were made. The secretary reported that 94 songs were sung. The Resolutions Committee offered warm, lively resolutions, including the resolution to return in 2010 on the Saturday before the 4th Sunday in July for the 14th annual Marilou and Don Jolly Memorial Singing.

Susanna Ball led 62 as the closing song. Norma Ruptier offered prayer and the class was dismissed.

Sunday, July 26

Singers gathered on the following morning to sing for two hours in the Old Adobe Chapel, Old Town, San Diego, California.
