The annual Cullman County Courthouse Singing Convention was held at the Cullman County Courthouse, second floor courtroom, on the second Sunday and Saturday before in July. Danny Creel called the class to order leading 30t. The morning prayer was given by Marlin Beasley.

The deceased remembered were: Charlotte Hinkle, Lebron Hinton, Elvin Guthrie, Christal Crocker, Talmage Guthrie, Mavis Price, Florence Doss, Lamar Smith, Alpha Black, Avery Strickland, Carolyn Denson, Betty Haas, Susan McKathan, and Dena Morgan.

The sick and shut-ins remembered were: Gladys Bonds, Thor Parker, Gurstal Nail, Elsie Beasley, John Hocutt, Sherry Guthery, Henry Guthery, Ruth Tillman, Earthba Slosser, Nattie Elliott, Bo Caldwell, Stephanie Bailey, and Dick Mauldin. Brenda Merritt then led 146. John Merritt closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
