The first annual Rivanna River All Day Singing was held on Saturday before the second Sunday in September at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church Unitarian Universalist in Charlottesville, Virginia. The class was called together at 10:00 a.m. by Diane Ober leading 171. Hank Schutz led the opening prayer. Greetings and opening remarks were made by Diane Ober, and elections were held.
The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed: Chair—Diane Ober: Vice Chairman—John Alexander; Secretary—Beverly Oneida; Treasurer—Judy Cahill; Chaplain—Hank Schutz; Arranging—Kat Kinkade; Housing—Lynn Heath; Kitchen—Frances Schutz. Pitching was shared by Blake Morris and John delRe.
