The twenty-ninth session of the annual Keeton Memorial Sacred Harp singing was held at Shady Grove Church (Keeton Cemetery) on the third Sunday in September. The class was called to order by Travis Keeton leading song on page 37b. Travis Keeton welcomed everyone, and A.C. McGough led the class in the morning prayer.

The class organized for the day with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Travis Keeton; Vice Chairman—A.C. McGough; Arranging Committee—Lena Keeton; Secretary—Willodean Barton.
