The Sacred Harp singing held at Gum Pond Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in May was called to order by Nicholas Thompson leading 82t. Lomax Ballinger offered the opening prayer. Nicholas welcomed the class and led 112.

Nicholas Thompson closed the memorial lesson with prayer, and asked a blessing on the noon meal.
