The 40th session of the Young Peoples’ Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the fifth Sunday in July. The class was called to order by Evelyn Lamb leading 48t. Dani Tardif offered the opening prayer.

In a business meeting, the following officers and committee members were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Esther Wade; Co-chairman—Eléa Regembal; Arranging Committee—Lari Jalbert and Rachel Farber; Treasurer—Indigo Micciche; Secretary—Stuart Jackson.

The Resolutions Committee recommended having the next Young Peoples’ Convention in Southeast Pennsylvania on Saturday before the fifth Sunday after the fourth of July. The Resolutions Committee gave thanks to all officers, the revision committee, and the keyers. One hundred and thirty-eight singers registered from sixteen US states and three Canadian provinces. One hundred and two songs were sung.

Esther Wade and Élea Regembal led 62 as the closing song.
