The annual Homecoming Sacred Harp Singing was held at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church on the first Sunday in May. Eugene Forbes called the class to order leading 32t and 75. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Ken Milner. The class elected the following officers: Chairman—Jacob Acton; Vice Chairman—Cecil Roberts; Secretary—Jenny Acton.

RECESS
Jacob Acton led 282 to bring the class back together. A memorial lesson was held. Richard Mauldin led 551 in memory of the following deceased and in honor of the following sick and shut-ins. The deceased were Hugh McGraw, Ruth Garner, Daphne Causey, Floy Wilder, Louise Holland, Margaret Ray, Steve Helwig, and Eloise Wootten. The sick and shut-ins were Don Bowen, Mary Frances Forbes, Deanna Martin, Jarred Rollins, Jimmy Harris, Jimmy Bass, Betty Bass, and Charlene Wallace. Elder Ken Milner closed the memorial service with prayer.
