The annual Sacred Harp singing at Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church was held on the third Sunday in September. Jack Nelson brought the class together leading 34t and 33b. Elder Louis Culver offered the morning prayer.

The class voted to retain the following officers: Chairman—Jack Nelson; Vice Chairman—William Futral; Secretary and Arranging Officer—Virginia Futral.
