The annual Rivanna River Shape Note Singing held at the Charlottesville Friends Meeting House was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Tom Clay and Zoe Clay leading 59 and 274t. The morning prayer was offered by John Alexander.

A business session was held with the following officers elected: Chairman—Zoe Clay (age 9); Vice Chairman—Tom Clay; Secretary—Diane Ober; Arranging Committee—Hank Schutz and Bob Clay; Chaplain—John Alexander; Treasurer—Judy Cahill.

John Alexander presented resolutions thanking all who contributed to the success of the singing. Judy Cahill gave a treasurer’s report.

Following announcements, John Alexander led 347 as the closing song, offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
