The annual singing in memory of Walker and Lessie Cates and Herbert Brown and Louise Brown Allen was held on the second Sunday in October at Muscadine Methodist Church in Muscadine, Cleburne County, Alabama. Jeff Sheppard called the class to order leading 32t. Cecil Roberts offered the morning prayer.

Leaders: Jeff Sheppard 37b; Hugh McGraw 37t, 145b; and Pearl Guier 59, 127.

The class was organized and voted to retain the following officers: Chairman—Jeff Sheppard; Vice Chairman—Hugh McGraw; Secretary—Shelbie Sheppard; Arranging Committee—Pearl Guier.

Leaders: Pam Nunn 122, 142; Stanley Edwards 335, 340; Judy Chambless 28t, 274t; Lonnie Rogers 75, 97, 112; Charlene Wallace 56t (in memory of Elder Homer Benefield, who passed away this morning), 117 (in honor of Carlene Griffin and Gladys McGraw (who is in the hospital, seriously ill), 314; John Plunkett 80t, 133, 351; Karen Rollins 354t, 84, 77b.

RECESS

Hugh McGraw led 267 and 69t for Elder Homer Benefield and all the other deceased who have passed away this past year, and for the sick and shut-ins. Jeff Sheppard led 503 in memory of B.J. Harris.

Jeff Sheppard led 121 to bring the class to order. Announcements were made. Shelbie Sheppard, Rene Greene, and Pam Nunn led 269 in memory of Lessie Cates and as the closing song. The pastor of the church, Donald Payne, dismissed the class with prayer.
