The eighth annual Chattanooga Area Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in August at Salem Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy (just north of Chattanooga), Tennessee. Barring the unforeseen, this will also be the site of the 2005 and 2006 singings.

The class was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Phil Summerlin leading 49t. The opening prayer was offered by John Plunkett.

Officers for the singing were: Chairman—Phil Summerlin; Secretaries—Karen Ivey and Linda Sides; Arranging Committee—Michael Thompson.
