The annual Boiling Springs Convention was held at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church in the Oak Grove Community, near Sylacauga, Alabama on the second Sunday in July. Marlin Beasley offered the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Elder Bufrey Dean; Secretary—Cynthia Dean; Arranging Committee—Daniel Dean.

Elder Bufrey Dean brought the class back together leading 313t. Elder Bufrey Dean asked that Maudie Frederick be remembered in prayer, having had triple by-pass heart surgery. Elder Bufrey Dean led 45t. Tom Ingram prayed a warm, loving dismissal prayer.

Announcements were made. Elder Bufrey Dean thanked everyone for coming which indeed helped to bring the Boiling Springs Convention back to life again. Jack Nelson offered the closing prayer. The class sang 45t, and those who desired took the parting hand. The class was dismissed.
