The annual all day Sacred Harp singing at the State University of West Georgia was held on the first Sunday in January. Due to remodeling in the Food Services Building, the singing was held in the Education Center.

Myron House called the class to order with songs on pages 60 and 59. The morning prayer was led by B.J. Harris. Myron House led song on page 63, and was followed by Felton Denney 50b, 73t; and Charlene Wallace 171, 177.

The business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Myron House; Vice Chairman—Philip Denney; Secretary—Charlene Wallace; Arranging Committee—Mary Florence Smith; Memorial Committee—Jan House and Josephine Denney.

The memorial was closed with prayer led by Mary Florence Smith.
