H.R. Avery Memorial Singing

The annual memorial singing in memory of Elder H.R. Avery was held on the second Sunday in February at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church, Tallapoosa County, Alabama. The class was called to order by Charlotte Bishop leading 36b. Ted Price offered the opening prayer.

In a business meeting, the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Charlotte Bishop; Secretary—Isabelle Green; Arrangements—Jordan McGuire. The business session was closed.

The memorial lesson was held at this time. Ted Price led 196 for the sick and shut-ins. Sharon White led 560 in memory of the deceased. Cecil Roberts closed the memorial service with prayer.
