The first edition of the Wakefield All-Day Sacred Harp Singing was held at the Rupert Community Center in La Pêche on Saturday before the second Sunday in October. The class was called to order by névé dumas leading 72b. Hannah Kaya offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held in order to hear reports from various committees. Gillian Prouse reported for the Finance Committee that expenses were met. Hannah Kaya of the Resolutions Committee read its report: thanking the officers and committee members for their service, thanking the cooks for bringing delicious food for sustenance, and resolving to meet again next year. Anabel Gravel Chabot gave the Secretary’s report stating that forty-four singers representing two Canadian provinces and one American state led eighty-seven songs. The meeting was closed. Announcements were made.
