The Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church Homecoming and the Hillabee Sacred Harp Singing was held on the fourth Sunday in May. The class was called to order by Charlotte Bishop leading 32t, 145b. Jack Nelson offered the opening prayer.

In a business session, a motion was made to elect the following officers: Chairman—Charlotte Bishop; Secretary—Sharon Whitehead; Arrangements—Jordan McGuire. The motion carried and the business session was closed.

RECESS

Robert Chambless and Jack Nelson brought the class to order leading “Lord, Give Me Just A Little More Time” (Silver Gleams) by request. LUNCH

Sharon Whitehead called the class to order leading 68b. The memorial lesson was held at this time. Jack Nelson led 30b in memory of Richard DeLong, Bentley McGuire, and Mattie Perry. He led 336 for sick and shut-ins William Futral, Virginia Futral, Mona Nelson, Nancy Waters, Roy Nelson, Ray Nelson, Nell Estes, and Ben Keeble. Robert Chambless closed the memorial service with prayer.
