The 27th annual Oregon session of the Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp Singing Convention was held at the Laurelhurst Club, Portland, Oregon, on the third Sunday and Saturday before in October. Linda Berkemeier and Thom Fahrbach called the class to order leading 448b. Tom McTighe offered the morning prayer.
A business meeting was held and the following officers were elected: Chairman—Thom Fahrbach; Treasurer—Linda Berkemeier; Secretary—Ruth Linehan.

A business meeting was held to hear committee reports. The Arranging Committee reported that one hundred sixty-seven people registered from fourteen states and three countries, ninety-one leaders, and one hundred sixty-three songs sung. The Treasurer reported that two thirds of expenses were received and thanked the singers. Announcements were made. The Resolutions Committee thanked everyone who helped to make the convention a success.
Gifts were presented to Matthew Parkinson for his singing school presentation on Friday evening. Thom Fahrbach, Leilai Immel-Parkinson, Matthew Parkinson, and Isaac Parkinson led 97. Thom Fahrbach and Betsy Jeronen led 36b as the closing song. Emily Winokur offered the closing prayer, and the class was dismissed.
