The annual Auburn Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the third Sunday in January at Auburn First Presbyterian Church. The class was called to order by Elizabeth Gentry leading 30t. Rev. Kathy Reed offered the morning prayer.

Karen talked about how important it is to send cards to the sick and shut-ins, and how much she appreciated all the cards and gifts she received while sick. She led 70t for the following sick and shut-ins: Concetta Branson, Virginia Futral, Charlene Wallace, Chris Holley, Ottis Sides, and Jewel Wootten.

Lisa talked about how much the singing family means to each singer, and how we miss the ones who have died. She led 381 in memory of the following deceased: Darrell Swarens, Hugh McGraw, Daphene Causey, Eloise Wootten, Linda Domholt, Berkeley Moore, Amy Denison, Margaret Ray, Ann Sleeva, Julie Vea, Gravis Ballinger, Martha Moody, Floy Wilder, Edith Owen, Jean Baird, and Mary Shivers. Philip Denney closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
