The annual Sacred Harp singing held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Double Springs, Alabama, was called to order by Don Keeton leading 30t. The morning prayer was offered by Don Keeton.
The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Don Keeton; Vice Chairman—Kermit Adams; Arranging Officer—Margaret Keeton; Secretary—Roma Rice.

She then read the following list of names of the deceased: Dawson Adams, Jerry Godsey, Jean Ballinger, Johnny Humber, and Rene Humber. Roma Rice led 425. Don Keeton closed the memorial lesson with prayer.
