A business session was called for the purpose of hearing reports. A petition was made by singers from the state of Maine to be included in the rotation for the New England Convention in four years time (2013), following Vermont and preceding Massachusetts. The motion was passed unanimously. The secretary reported that 161 songs had been lead by 101 leaders, and that 221 singers from 14 states, 2 Canadian provinces, and the UK were in attendance. The treasurer thanked the class for collections to help cover expenses. The Resolutions Committee thanked the organizers and resolved to meet next year in Rhode Island. The business session was closed.
