The annual Sacred Harp Memorial Singing for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rogers convened at Ephesus School on the first Sunday in March. Chairman Lonnie Rogers called the class together leading songs on pages 75 and 33b, and the morning prayer was led by Elder Marshall Avery. B. M. Smith led songs on pages 81 (t? b?), 78; Mary F. Smith 53, 72b; Margie Smith 335, 313 (t? b?). Denny Rogers, Mayor, made a short talk and welcomed everyone; then he and Karen Rollins led page 100. The class was organized by electing the following officers: Chairman—Lonnie Rogers; Vice Chairman—B. M. Smith; Secretary—Vivian Rogers; Arranging Committee—Mary Florence Smith and Margie Smith; Memorial Committee—Sherry Lovvorn and Ruth Brown.
