The annual Sacred Harp singing at Edwardsville Baptist Church, Edwardsville, Alabama, was held on the first Sunday in April. The class was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Stanley Edwards leading 72b. Lonnie Rogers offered the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Stanley Edwards; Vice Chairman—Ed Thacker; Arranging Committee—Pearl Guier; Secretary—Hester Edwards.

Ed Thacker led 403 in honor of the following sick and shut-ins: Katherine Benefield, Jimmy Denney, and Daphene Causey. Cecil Roberts offered prayer to close the memorial lesson.

Rev. Bobby Garner, pastor of the church, spoke and welcomed everyone.
