The annual singing in memory of Walker Cates and Herbert Brown was held on the second Sunday in October at Muscadine Methodist Church in Muscadine, Alabama. The class was called to order by Jeff Sheppard leading 32t. Lonnie Rogers offered the morning prayer. Jeff Sheppard led 61; Stanley Edwards 56t, 76b; Shelbie Sheppard 186, 202; Pearl Guier 59, 122.

The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Jeff Sheppard; Vice Chairman—Stanley Edwards; Secretary—Shelbie Sheppard; Arranging Committee—Pearl Guier.
