The annual Sacred Harp singing at Cross Roads Baptist Church was held on the first Sunday in July. Louis Hughes brought the class to order leading 32t, and then offered the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Louis Hughes; Vice Chairlady—Miranel Swafford; Secretary—Belinda Stansbery; Memorial Committee—Mary L. Smith; Arranging Committee—Louis Hughes, Jr. and Charlene Wallace.

Teenie Moody led 72b for the sick and shut-ins which included: Bobby Jackson, I.V. McWhorter, Alice Edwards, Myrtle Smith, Nancy Allen, and Dale Harris. Mary L. Smith led 445. Cecil Roberts closed the memorial with prayer.

The pastor of Cross Roads Baptist Church welcomed and thanked everyone for coming and supporting the singing.
