The annual Sacred Harp singing held at Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church on the fourth Sunday in April was called to order by Carmon Brothers leading 59 and 58. Chris Green offered the morning prayer.

A business session was held with the class voting to retain the following officers: Chairman—Carmon Brothers; Vice Chairman—Beacher Yancey; Arranging Committee—Ruby Brothers; Secretary—Eunice Kimbrell.
