The fifth annual Eugene Singing was held in the sanctuary of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday before the second Sunday in August. Karen Stingle called the class to order at 9:30 a.m., and led song on page 47t. Reed Schilbach offered the invocation. Karen Stingle gave a brief welcome and read the slate of officers: Chairpersons—Karen Stingle and Dave Tobin; Secretary/Treasurer—Carolyn Gilkey; Arrangements—Jean Murphy, Suzanne Denker, Rachel Foster, Fran Ross, Jim Brock, Martha Johnson, and Gerry Currens; Memorial Committee—Tom Payne; Chaplain—Reed Schilbach; Registration—David Landazuri; Publicity—Jane Grant; Food—Jean Marcotte, Will Marcotte, Maureen, and Jane Grant.
