The annual Sacred Harp singing at Oak Hill Baptist Church was held on the second Sunday in November. The class was called to order by B.J. Harris leading song 37b. Louis Hughes offered the morning prayer. B.J. Harris led song on page 32t; Pearl Guier 59, 127; B.J. Harris 73b.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—B.J. Harris; Vice Chairman—Max Berueffy; Secretary—Hester Edwards; Arranging Committee—Pearl Guier.

A special memorial was given by Shelbie Sheppard for Freeman Wootten and Canola (Oakie) Austin, both of whom had passed away this past week, and led songs on pages 48t and 278t in their memory.

LUNCH

Max Berueffy brought the afternoon session to order leading songs on pages 48b (in memory of Freeman Wootten) and 186. After announcements were made, B.J. Harris and Max Berueffy led song on page 457 (by request) as the closing song. Louis Hughes dismissed the class with prayer.
