Liberty Decoration Singing

Liberty Church, Henagar, Alabama

The annual Decoration Day Sacred Harp Singing held at Liberty Church was called to order with Chairman David Ivey leading songs on pages 82t and 34t. Phil Summerlin led the morning prayer.

The singing continued with Vice Chairman Rodney Ivey leading song on page 317 (in memory of his grandfather, Eulas Ivey). Leaders: Vice Chairman Shane Wootten 73t (for Edith Tate); Secretary Norma Green 448t (in memory of her mother, Helen Ivey); Jackie Tanner 421; Richard Ivey 42.

Jackie Tanner and Richard Ivey were appointed as the Arranging Committee.

Leaders: Loyd Ivey 378t (in memory of Aunt Woodie Walker); Henry Johnson 338; Joan Aldridge 192; S.T. RECESS

Chairman David Ivey thanked the arranging committee for a job well done. Following announcements, David Ivey, Shane Wootten, and Rodney Ivey led 146 as the closing song. The class was dismissed with prayer by Pastor Tony Ivey.
