The 47th session of the annual Seed and Feed Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in October. The class was called to order by Malinda Snow leading 173. Malinda Snow offered the opening prayer. RECESS

Malinda Snow called the class back together by leading 294. Shawn Taylor led 499t. Bill DuPre led the memorial lesson. He spoke about the Sacred Harp community and the importance of helping others in the community. He read the following list of names of the sick and shut-ins: Judy Henry, Betty Shepherd, Joyce Walton, Ed Thacker, Margaret Thacker, Don Bowen, Jack Nelson, Henry Johnson, Jesse Roberts, Nate Green. Bill read the following list of names of the deceased: Buell Cobb, Lucy Heidorn, and Julia Poston—Alabama; Nancy Hersh and Donna Tasker—Georgia; John Bennett—Germany; Michael Kennedy—Ireland; John Smead—Missouri; Phil Perrin—North Carolina; Mike Hinton—Texas. Bill DuPre led 86 for all, and closed the lesson with prayer.

Jesse P. Karlsberg led 111t to bring the class back together. Jesse made a special presentation of a plaque to Malinda Snow for her work in editing song texts in the new revision of The Sacred Harp: 2025 Edition.
