The twenty-seventh session of the annual Sacred Harp singing was held at Shady Grove Church (Keeton Cemetery) on the third Sunday in September. The class was called to order by Travis Keeton who welcomed everyone and then led song on page 48t. The morning prayer was led by A.C. McGough. Travis Keeton led song on page 201.
The election of officers were as follows: Chairman—Travis Keeton; Vice Chairman—A. C. McGough; Secretary—Lena Keeton; Arranging Committee—John Hyde and Glenn Keeton.
