Ateven Snderson thanked all the out of state singers for coming to the first all day singing in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. Nancy Van Den Akker spoke about the history of shape note singing in the city. Howe Pearson gave the Secretary’s report stating that thirty-two leaders representing nine states led eighty-four songs. Announcements were made.

Ateven Snderson led 62 as the closing song, and the class was dismissed.
