The annual Sanders Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held at Liberty Primitive Baptist Church, McCormick, Jefferson County, Alabama, on Saturday before the second Sunday in February. The class was called to order by Brenda Chafin leading 56t. The opening prayer was offered by Butch White. Brenda welcomed the class, and stated, jestingly, that she was the first to arrive on premises. She led 63.
The class was organized by electing or appointing the following officers to serve: Chairman—Brenda Chafin; Vice Chairman—Tom Booth; Secretary—Nicholas Thompson; Arranging—Linda Booth.
