The Kermit Adams and Steve Adams Memorial Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June. The class was called to order by Tom Booth leading 31b. Mike Hankins offered the opening prayer.

The following officers were appointed to serve: Chairman—Mike Hankins; Secretary—Roma Rice; Arranging—Margaret Keeton.

Leaders: Mike Hankins 34b, 155; Zena Tucker 47t, 49b; Louise Yeager 61, 63; David Godsey 77t, 72b; Paul Godsey 75, 40; Zena Tucker 39b, 47b.

RECESS

Mike Hankins brought the class back together by leading 565. Leaders: Nellie Alexander 81t; Faye Donaldson 225t, 129; Linda Booth 358, 30t; Tom Booth 78, 84; Roma Rice 111b, 56t; Susan Allred 378b, 425; Greg Allred 36b, 452.

LUNCH

The afternoon session began with Mike Hankins leading 31t. A memorial lesson was conducted by Greg Allred and Linda Booth. They led 335 for the following sick and shut-ins: Julie Poston, Henry Guthery, Juanita Beasley, and Butch White. The led 512 in memory of the following deceased: Lorene Gray, Emily Adams, Carolyn Woodard, Lanier Godsey, Mack Fannin, Solomon Ossa, Jayne Fulmer, Sam Parker, and Olivia Johnson. The memorial service was closed with prayer offered by Greg Allred.
