The Kermit Adams and Steve Adams Memorial Singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Double Springs, Alabama. The class was called to order by Nicholas Thompson leading 32t. The morning prayer was offered by Wayne Baines.

The class was organized and the following officers were elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Nicholas Thompson; Vice Chairman—Jerry Kitchens; Secretary—Roma Rice; Arranging—Margaret Keeton.

The memorial lesson was conducted by Theresa Westmoreland. She led “By Virgin Birth” (written by Kenneth Fannin) for the following sick and shut-ins: Ozella Blackmon, Velton Chafin, and Ottis Sides.

Theresa spoke and led 45t in memory of the following deceased: Bobby Young, Julie Vea, Ann Sleeva, Louise Holland, Eloise Wootten, Daphene Causey, Glenda Hopper, and Lily Hopper. She led 196 in memory of Caleb Allred. The memorial service was closed.

The afternoon session began with Nicholas Thompson and Margaret Keeton leading 76b.
