The 21st annual Lunsford and Jolly Memorial Singing (renamed in 2014) was held at Christ Lutheran Church in Pacific Beach, California. The class was called to order at 10:10 a.m. by Mairye Bates leading 479. Midge Harder offered the opening prayer.

A business meeting was held, and the following officers and committee members were elected or appointed: Chairperson—Mairye Bates; Vice Chairperson—India Genack; Secretaries—Judy Getrich and Mimi Wright; Arranging Committee—Judy Getrich and Mimi Wright; Resolutions—Laura Boyd Russell and Carla Smith.

Mairye Bates led a session of remembrance, during which singers shared memories and stories about Carroll Lunsford and Don and Marilou Jolly. Jerry Schreiber talked movingly about the legacy of Hugh McGraw. Singers also made short comments of remembrance as they led songs throughout the singing. Laura Boyd Russell and Carla Smith offered a resolutions poem in long meter, which everyone enjoyed. Following committee reports and announcements, Jerry Schreiber led 365.

Mairye Bates led 62 as the closing song. Midge Harder offered a prayer, and the class was dismissed.
