The 7th annual Sacred Harp singing convened at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church, Ringgold, Louisiana, on Saturday before the first Sunday in September. The morning session was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Robert Vaughn leading 59 (CB). Prayer was offered by Henry McGuire.

During the morning session, song selections were from the B.F. White Sacred Harp, Cooper Revision.
