The annual Sacred Harp singing at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church was held on the first Sunday in April. The class was called to order by Jack Nelson leading 32t. Elder J.D. Morris offered the opening prayer. Jack Nelson led 34b.

Jack Nelson brought the afternoon session to order. He conducted the memorial lesson, leading 141and 400 in memory of Bud Oliver and in honor of Eugene Forbes, Sammie Oliver, Loyd Ivey, George Garner, Lucy Garner, Carlene Griffin, Lois Bowman, Mona Nelson, Charles Griffis, Don Clark, and Nell Estes. Elder J.D. Morris closed the memorial service with prayer.
