The annual Sacred Harp singing held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in June at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Double Springs, Alabama, was called to order by Kermit Adams leading 31b. Richard Mauldin offered the morning prayer.
The class was organized with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Travis Keeton; Vice Chairman—Don Keeton; Arranging Committee—Margaret Keeton; Secretary—Roma Rice.

The sick and shut-ins remembered were Charlotte Gober and Willodean Barton. She led 425.
