The annual Sacred Harp singing in memory of B.I. Wood and Alvis Brothers was held at Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday before the first Sunday in November. The class was called to order by Ron Crocker leading 48t. The morning prayer was offered by Othie Chamblee.

A business meeting was held with the following officers elected to serve: Chairman—Ron Crocker; Secretary—Gloria Hutchens.

RECESS

Ron Crocker called the class back to order leading 274t. Leaders: Willouise Malone 164, 89; Helen Lambert 426t, 285t; Larry Lambert and Helen Lambert 490 (in memory of her mother, Lela Brothers), 111b; Debra Ritch 335, 312b; Gloria Hutchens 30t, 566; Ron Crocker 148. Ron Crocker offered the blessing for the noon meal.

LUNCH

The afternoon session was called to order by Ron Crocker leading 270. Ron Crocker led 62 as the closing song, and offered the closing prayer. The class was dismissed.
