Minutes of Sacred Harp Singings

The annual singing in memory of B.I. Wood and Alvis Brothers was held at Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Attalla, Alabama, on Saturday before the first Sunday in November. The class was called to order by Ron Crocker leading 48t. The morning prayer was offered by Othie Chamblee.

A business meeting was held with the class voting to retain the same officers: Chairman—Ron Crocker; Secretary—Gloria Hutchens.

A memorial lesson was conducted by Ron Crocker leading 490 (in memory of Billie Dean Hornsby, who died in May of this year); Judy Caudle led 99 (in memory of Herby Bailey); and J.L. Hopper led 73t (in memory of Pauline Cobbs). The memorial was closed.
