The thirty-seventh annual session of the singing held as a memorial for Mr. and Mrs. John Alexander, Jimmy Hullett, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Roie Alexander, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Alexander, Arville Hyatt, J.B. Lowe, Alton Lowe, Rev. James Putman, and Freeman Wootten was held on the first Sunday in October at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church. The class was called to order at 9:45 a.m. by Terry Hullett leading 59. Rev. Jimmy Wadsworth offered the morning prayer.
