The twenty-third annual Sacred Harp singing at Oxford City Hall was called to order by Warren Steel leading 138b and 306. John Merritt offered the morning prayer. Mark Tew led 341 and 406.

A memorial lesson was held for singers and loved ones departed in the past year, including Frances Lee—Florida; Tressie Adkins and Nell Adams—Alabama; Katie Wilson—Mississippi; and Dr. Richard Enochs—Tennessee.
Sick and shut-ins were also remembered, including Lavaughn Ballinger and Emily Boswell. Becky Briggs and Brenda Merritt led 163b and 274t. End of memorial lesson.
