The twenty-fifth annual Seed and Feed Sacred Harp Singing was held on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in October at Embry Hills Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. The class was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Helen Bryson leading song on page 31 (t? b?). Bryan Black led the opening prayer.

Leaders: Andy Morse 56t, 288; Laura Akerman 84, 532; Doug Allison and Emma Allison 326, 277; Kelly Morris 49b, 114.

A business session was held with the following officers elected or appointed: Chairman—Andy Morse; Vice Chairperson—Lela Crowder; Secretary—Laura Akerman; Chaplain—Bryan Black; Arranging Committee—Kelly Morris and Doug Allison; Memorial Committee—Eric Tweedy and Kenneth DeLong; Finance Committee—Andy Anderson and Dan Huger.

A memorial lesson was held. Kenneth DeLong led a song for the deceased who have passed away since last year, and Eric Tweedy led for the sick and shut-ins, including Freeman Wootten. Bryan Black closed the memorial lesson with prayer.

Hugh McGraw led song on page 382, and reminisced about the early days of this singing when singers were seated in “bleachers” at the Seed and Feed Theatre.
