The Athens Bicentennial Old Harp Singing was held in conjunction with the Northeast Georgia Folk Festival at the Visitors Center of Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia.

Lee Rogers opened the first portion of the singing from the Social Harp with songs on pages 114 and 86. Hugh McGraw gave a synopsis of the tradition and history.

All selections in the first session are from the “Social Harp.”
