The one hundred-third session of the Bear Creek Sacred Harp Singing Convention met at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Winston County, Alabama on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in August.

The class was called to order by John Hyde leading songs on pages 37b and 61. Cecil Wakefield offered the morning prayer.

The class organized for the day with the following officers elected or appointed to serve: Chairman—Kermit Adams; Vice Chairman—Travis Keeton; Secretary—Roma Rice; Arranging Committee—Chris Rice.
