The one hundred fifty-sixth annual session of the Sacred Harp Singing at Elmore-Center United Methodist Church was called to order by Clarence McCool leading song on page 59. Velton Chafin offered the morning prayer. Billy Williams served as the Arranging Committee.

Edith Tate led song on page 88t; and Josie Hyde led song on page 43 for the following deceased: Marie Aldridge, Virgil Phillips, Fayrene Wakefield, Rosa Hughes, Horace Batchelor, Rev. Hubert Calvert, Karen House, Everett Kilgoe, Myrtis Graham, and Ward Elmore. The pastor of the church closed the memorial with prayer.
